The Frobenius Institute is pleased to welcome anthropologist Anne Meneley for this year’s Ad. E. Jensen Memorial Lecture. Under the title How to Do Things with Plants: Easy and Uneasy Collaborations with Plants, the lecture series explores the complex relationships between humans, plants, and political landscapes.

Two members of the Frobenius Institute attended the 3rd SODa Barcamp, which was recently held by SODa at the Germanisches Nationalmuseum in Nuremberg. The event provided an open platform for discussion on topics related to research data, digital infrastructures, and sustainable data management in the humanities and social sciences.

The presentations of this year’s Summer Symposium are now available on the institute’s YouTube channel. Interested viewers can watch the presentations there at any time and gain a comprehensive overview of the topics presented.
In addition, photos of the poster presentations and highlights of the event have now been published on the Summer Symposium website, offering insights into the proceedings and atmosphere of the event.

The Frobenius Institute is once again represented at EASA this year. EASA 2026 is taking place from 21 to 24 July 2026 at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, under the title ‘Anthropology: Possibilities in a Polarised World’.
