On June 16 and 17, 2025, urban anthropologists from all over Germany and Switzerland met in Frankfurt to discuss the fundamentals of urban anthropology and to promote the publication of a handbook on urban anthropology by Springer Verlag. Individual chapters were already discussed at this meeting.
The workshop was organized by Prof. Dr. Madlen Kobi (Fribourg, Switzerland), PD Dr. Raúl Acosta García (GU Frankfurt) and Prof. Dr. Susanne Fehlings (Frobenius Institute, Frankfurt) and financially supported by the Frobenius Institute, the Institute of Ethnology, GRADE, and the Friends and Sponsors of Goethe University.
