Dagmar Glänzer studied at the University of Applied Sciences for Library Science and, after graduating in 1984, managed the library of DECHEMA Gesellschaft für Chemische Technik und Biotechnologie until 2016. From 2007 to 2016, she studied sinology at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and graduated with a master's degree. After a five-month sick leave replacement in the then Ethnological Library in early 2017, she worked for several months in the library of the Frankfurt School of Finance. Since May 2018, she has been entrusted with the following tasks in the Leo Frobenius Ethnological Library: cataloging, exchange of documents, periodicals, support of the library EDP.
