Valerie Hänsch, winner of the 2017 Frobenius Prize for the Promotion of Young Researchers, has received another prize for the work we honoured with the title ‘Vertreibung und Widerstand im sudanesischen Niltal: Ein Staudammprojekt und der Versuch zu bleiben’.
With the help of ‘Geisteswissenschaften International - Preis zur Förderung der Übersetzung geisteswissenschaftlicher Werke’, the work was translated into English and has now been published by Berghahn: Link
The German version has already been published in our ‘Studien zur Kulturkunde’.
