Generous donation of Angola literature

The former, long-time (1970-2004) employee of the Frobenius Institute, Dr. Beatrix Heintze, has made a very generous donation to the ethnological Library Leo Frobenius a very generous donation. This consists of several hundred books on the history and culture of Angola and Africa, including many rarities and works in Portuguese rarely found in Germany.
The donation, which will complement the library's holdings on Lusophone Africa very well, will be added to the library's catalog as early as the first half of 2022.

We would like to express our sincere thanks for this special collection, which Dr. Heintze collected over several decades with great personal commitment during her research. We are already looking forward to the new users that this unique collection will bring to our library!
