The Frobenius Institute is pleased to present the program of this year's Sommersymposium on June 9 and 10, 2022. With its annual Sommersymposium, the Frobenius Institute offers young researchers at German-speaking ethnological institutes the opportunity to present their latest research work related to social and cultural anthropology to an interested audience and to exchange ideas with other scholars.
The own work can be presented as lectures, posters or as a film. There is also the possibility to get to know the archives, collections and research activities of the Frobenius Institute and to receive information about the journal published by the Institute, Paideuma. Mitteilungen zur Kulturkunde published by the Institute. The event is supported by a generous grant from the Frobenius Society.
The Sommersymposium was held for the first time in June 2018. It replaces the "Frobenius Lecture" organized up to and including 2017.
